This three-part badge, made of white brass, was worn by the local Scottish volunteer force in Calcutta in the first half of the 20th century. This is a comparitively rare badge to find, although it is of bazaar construction.

Having received the beautiful medal that has been the subject of many recent phone calls, I am absolutely delighted with it. More importantly, the research you provided into the military backgrounds of all those involved made it all the more poignant. Thank you for your highly professional and friendly help and advice throughout the transaction.

I recieved the medal today and I am very pleased with the quality. It is in excellent condition, both the medal and the ribbon, for an original.
