Clean example, with no lacquer left. Marked '4' on the pin for Steinhauer & Luck of Ludenscheid. The paintwork is in good shape. There is some minor pickling to the finish on the reverse. This was the classic award for gallantry in both wars, next up in rank from an Iron Cross, 2nd class.
