This painting (oil on board, 28 x 48.5 cm inside frame) shows an Austrian horse artillery gun team of the KuK army in the old pre-1914 uniform. Pock was perhaps one of the most celebrated of the Austrian artists where this genre was concerned and there are several examples of his work in the Military History Museum in Vienna.
The gun in question would appear to be a field howitzer, possibly the model of 1875, as there is clearly no gun shield, which you would expect to see on a field gun.
The painting, in a gilt wood frame, is in good overall condition, except for some scratched paintwork in the sky, which are not as noticeable as they appear in my photo and which could be restored.
