This is the first volume of a splendid two-volume set on 16th-18th century firearms. It is copiously illustrated in black and white throughout and covers, essentially, the wheellock period and early doglock and flintlock.

Condition: the front board has slight damage at the base and the laminate is slightly soiled; fly leaf inscribed.
