An uncommon example of the Prussian NCO's sword with a steel guard of the non-folding variety, a walnut grip with the iron Wilhelm II cypher, copiously stamped with Prussian ordnance marks to hilt, scabbard and blade. The blade is dated 1915, but the last 30cms are somewhat deformed (cooking a chicken on campaign?!).
The bulk of the original blued finish remains to the hilt and scabbard.
