Title 60th King's Royal Rifle Corps officer's crossbelt plate
Nationality British
Period c 1865-1881
Sold

This is an unmarked silver example, complete with its original four retaining nuts. This regiment started life as the 'Royal American Regiment' at the end of the Revolutionary War. It was worn on a black leather crossbelt, together with a whistle and chain. A leather pouch, mounted with a silver bugle, was attached to this arrangement.

On the reverse, some minor damage has occurred over time from silver testing or the like, but generally speaking it is in exellent shape for its age.

Very great item and I'm very pleased with it. The bayonet arrived without any problem. Thank you.

Swords mattered [arrived?]. I am very content. You still have which good swords for the sale?
