A clean example with its original frog, the scabbard with modern repaint, base of blade marked 'ALEX COPPEL / SOLINGEN' at the forte of the blade. Perhaps the most common Mauser bayonet of the Great War, but still in relatively nice shape with good walnut grips and polished iron hilt mounts (now laquered). Dated on the back of the blade. |
