Title Pair of 16th Light Cavalry trial pattern collar dogs
Nationality British Empire
Period post-1922
Sold

This pair of unhallmarked silver collar dogs was produced as a trial pattern (ie a pattern that was never introduced into service, so rare) somewhere between 1922 and the end of the Indian Empire in 1948.

The lugs are of copper and clearly these collar dogs were made by a firm like Gaunt of London/Birmingham. They are 2.5cm long.

The tropical belt and buckle turned up on time and I am very happy with it and it has been a pleasure doing business with you.

Just to let you know that the bayonets arrived safely this morning and I am extremely happy! They are everything that I had hoped they would be, but better! I am extremely pleased that i purchased them from you. The 1867 Albini ... is an absolute beauty, the blade is immaculate. The other is in fact in far better condition that I had imagined as well. So all in all, I couldn't be happier! Many thanks Chris.

I very much look forward to doing business with you again in the near future.
