Title Pair of ORs Schupo Litzen (collar patches), 1936 model
Nationality German
Period 1936-45
Sold

These are 'Ausgehanzug', walking out dress examples, of the new pattern Schutzpolizei uniform introduced in 1936. This introduction occurred as a result of the gradual transfer of police power from the idividual Lander to central control, starting in 1934 and finishing in 1936 with Himmler in command of all police units.

These are built around a buckram base, covered with bright green wool and overlaid with aluminium braid. The condition is ex-stores with litte wear.

testimonials

I have in the last six months inherited my late father Alan Swain's police memorabilia collection along with much paperwork receipts etc. I would like to pass on to you my thanks for such good dealership with my father going back to the late 80s and well into the 1990s.

Picked up the dirk this morning and actually waited until I got back home before unwrapping the package. It really exceeded my expectations...whilst the photos were good, to see and feel it in three dimensions was very exciting. A beatutful piece Chris, and worth the wait.
