Title Silver-plated Civil Service Rifles prize pint pot
Nationality British
Period c 1910
Sold

Engraved: 'C.S.R. [over Prince of Wales feathers] / G.COY [company] / MARCH & SHOOT COMPTN [competition] / 1910.' This is a Britannia metal example with a good quality silver-plate finish. Minor wear in a patch where the owner obviously put his thumb, otherwise in excellent shape for age.

testimonials

Found the item a little on the expensive side and a bit disappointed that you were unwilling to bend a bit on the price of the Officer's Tunic Eagle (half the fun of buying, after all, is the haggling), but impressed by the speed of delivery and the quality of the item. Was well worth it in the long run...

Excellent information, Chris, you've been making a big effort! I will spell it out more closely (I'm a historian!) and don't think Bezdek can add much more.
