SA ORs shoulder straps, district Niederrhein - German
These first pattern straps were worn on the SA brown blouse from 1933-38 singly on the right shoulder, changing over to use on both shoulders somewhere between 1938-39, continuing thus to 1945. They were worn up to the rank of Obertruppfuehrer. The Niederrhein unit wore pebbled gilt buttons.

NSKK driver's sleeve insignia, 1st pattern - German
The NSKK were the motorised units of the SA, using trucks, motorcycles and sidecar motorcycles. They were used principally in the run-up to the war as a miiltary driving school to prepare young men for service with the forces. They wer also used in the pre-war period to move SA units rapidly around Germany when the Reds needed discomforting!

SA sports arm band - German
These were worn by SA sports umpires, time keepers and track officials at the official sports events of the Party. The RZM paper label dates it as being probably post 1936. The sword through the swastika echoes the SA sports badge, which has a similar motif.
