This is perhaps one of the best of these magazines because, first, it was produced in October 1942, while the Third Reich was still on a roll, showing the Leningrad and Western Desert fronts; and, second, it is the English issue, produced mainly for the Channel Islanders. This was a propaganda magazine with wide readership in Germany and beyond.

Published by the Daily Telegraph, this is dated January 24 1936. It was a commerative magazine for the life of the king, with about 40 pages of black and white photos, approximately 44 x 30 cms, including many pictures of his funeral procession and the massive turn-out of the crowd.

This is the 9 March 1920 issue of this magazine (approximately 50 x 35 cms), with about 55 photographs of British Indian amateur theatricals. It is a splendid snapshot of the Raj, mostly of its European inhabitants, at play and relaxation in the early 20th century.

This was a special cavalry issue, dated October 11 1894 (approximately 37 x 26 cms). It has excellent internal black and white photographs (about 60), with one tinted one, of British cavalry on manoeuvers. It is a mine of information on cavalry camp culture and uniforms of the period.
