Kriegsmarine officer's cap cockade - German
This is an early war time bullion cap cockade for the peak cap worn by senior NCOs and officers of the German Navy in WW2. Later examples were made of rayon simulating gold bullion. This is the original material, more or less identical to the imperial cap cockade, but without the crown at the top.

U-boat dockyard worker's badge, Kiel - German
Typically these badges were worn by both German and foreign dockyard workers at Kiel, Bremen, and also places like St Nazaire, anywhere, in fact, where German surface ships or U-boats were being repaired. The number on the front would correspond with the roll of the dock yard workers - it was effectively the worker's pass into the yard.
