MAGNIFY

These oval badges were worn by NCOs and denoted their particular professional skill, in this case naval ordnance. It would have been worn on the upper left arm.

It is machine embroidered yellow (perhaps a cotton/rayon mix as it has a sheen to it) on a navy blue wool broadcloth ground, with a rayon mesh backing. It measures just under 9cm long and is in ex-stores condition.
